Ahhhh this has been such a crazy week!!! I am in toronto right now near the end of orientation. Tues, Wed, and Thurs was 10am-5:30ish pm at the YCI office.. all of the information we learned there was invaluable!! I can not imagine going to Tanzania without having the skills that we learned this week. It was all the way from doing ice breakers and being comfortable with the group, to learning about how to deal with difficult situations in the field. I have been in a hostel in toronto this week with some of the girls  from the Kenya project, and the rest from the Tanzania project. That experience in itself was awesome (and interesting.. lots of commotion all the time!) . We bonded every night and have made relationships that will be so nice to have established already when we are in Tanzania. It is a bit sad that we will have to be separating from our Kenya friends though:( Today we have been at the Ramada hotel for our CIL training which will continue tomorrow. My mom is staying in Toronto tonight so that we can spend time together before I am off to Tanzania:) Its a nice change (much cleaner) from the hostel. We are just going to have a nice night of relaxing and catching up! My next post will be from Tanzania! 🙂
