The amazon is booked and we head out tonight to start a 5 day stay at a lodge tomorrow. It will take a 10 hour bus ride and 2 hour motorized canoe ride to get to the lodge and then day trips will be done from there.

The plan is to return to Quito on Christmas eve day and then stay here to celebrate Christmas with a potluck at a hostel that we talked to today and a little gift exchange. I’ll have updates on the amazon if I make it out alive in a few days 🙂
