Montanita
We made it to the coast! The bus ride from Banos ended up being quite long and we had to switch busses a couple of times to get here, but we arrived yesterday before noon so it was a success!
I’m not sure how to describe the place. It is busier than Mancora and not like any beach place at home, other than maybe Grandbend in prime party season. There are people everywhere, and the streets are always filled with people. The beach reminds me of Sauble Beach during the day when the tide is out. There are lots of surfers to watch in the evening as the sun sets and the tide comes in. We have been staying at quite a low budget place the last couple nights because it is expensive here, but we have decided to splurge for tomorrow night with a place over looking the ocean.
The coast was a bit out of the way to end our trip, but we planned it this way so we could have some relaxing in the sun before heading home. Our days here have not consisted of much else then lying on the beach and enjoying the sun 🙂
