This week just seemed to FLY by!! it was crazy, i cant even believe that it is Friday already. Monday was suuuuper rainy..when i walked outta the house i thought it was a holiday or something, but apparently everyone else just knew that we were getting a dumping, so they didnt bother to open their shops.. and boy were they right.. it poured for a  good chunk of the day. michelle and i had a class at 1pm at the faraja shule.. we showed up after trudging through the rain..aaand no one was there.. they had got sent home because people were a little cold and not feeling good. also, it would have been hard to teach over the rain on a tin roof.. sooo back home it was! ohh well. that just meant that we already had our lesson plan for friday done. Although the rain makes a mess, it was quite hilarious walking around in it.. it literally flattens half of the city out in some places.. and by that i mean that where they are usually ditches, it is filled with the brim with water. so i would go walking around with my unbrella, just walking through puddles because that was all you could do..thankfully, when i was about to cross one of them about 10 people started yelling and laughing at me to not go that way.. i couldnt figure it out until i looked back at it the next day that i would have been up to my waist or higher with water if i went that way.. ooops! thankfully i went a different way around it!

after the cancelled class, i just went home for a bit to relax, and they we had swahili lessons at jess’s. we always make dinner there, only i sit on the sidelines generally as people make the food.. this time, i took the reins and made dinner for everyone.. i made….Mr.Noodlesssss!!!! hahaha.. which consisted of boiling water. at least i didnt mess it up!!!! next week we are thinking grilled cheese and soup, i cant wait!
