Today was another travel day as we left Huacachina at 10am this morning to head to Lima. We arrived here early afternoon and are now settled into a hostel. We cracked down on our planning for the next few weeks this afternoon because I need to change the date of my flight home (which I anticipated when I initially booked) and would like to make a rough itinerary for the rest of Peru and Ecuador. I am still not sure if I will be home for Christmas because I want to feel satisfied with my time in Ecuador without feeling rushed.

Tonight we found the most fantastic open air sandwich shop a few blocks from the hostel. It was packed with locals and the food was delicious….so good that we might even return tomorrow despite our limited time here.

Now it’s off to bed so we can rest up so we can venture around the city tomorrow!
